FOLLANSBEE - Maria DeStefano D'Aurora, 82, a resident of 508 Rose Street, Follansbee, died at 6:30 a.m. today in St. John Hospital. She was born January 28, 1888, in Pettorano Sul Gizio, Italy, daughter of the late Domenico and Filomena DeStefano. Mrs. D'Aurora was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church and the Altar and Rosary Society. Her husband, Giovino D'Aurora, died January 20, 1952. Surviving are three sons, Mino, Dominick and John, all of Follansbee; six daughters, Mrs. Guy (Fannie) Casarcia, Mrs. Anthony (Yolanda) Gillette and Mrs. Attilio (Nina) Boni, all of Follansbee, Miss Margaret D'Aurora and Miss Gena D'Aurora, both at home, and Mrs. John (Dollie) Jackfret of Wellsburg; two brothers, Pete DeStefano of Follansbee and Guy DeStefano of Miami, Florida; 18 grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren. Friends may call at the James Funeral Home, Follansbee, today from 7-9 p.m. and Thursday and Friday from 12 noon to 9 p.m. Rosary devotions will be recited at 8:30 p.m. Friday. A Solemn Consecrated Mass will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. in St. Anthony's Church with the Rev. Fr. Cesidio J. Federico as celebrant. Interment will be made in Oak Grove Cemetery.
