Mrs. Concetta Grossi, 81, who resided with her son, Dominic Grossi of 636 Oxford Blvd., was dead on arrival at St. John Medical Center at 4:20 a.m today. She had been in failing health for seven months. A member of Sisters of Garibaldi of Follansbee, Catholic Woman's Club, League of the Sacred Heart and Holy Name Cathedral, she was the widow of Costanzo Grossi whom she married in September, 1920; He died in 1953. She leaves four sons, Joseph, Sebastian (Bus) and Albert, all of Steubenville, and Dominic with whom she resided; two daughters, Mrs. Michael J. (Mary) Barber Sr. and Mrs. Anthony (Helen) Lamantia both of Steubenville; two brothers, John Almonte of Steubenville and Venancio Almonte of Providence, R.I.; two sisters, Mrs. Angela Del Monaco of Italy and Mrs. Marietta Del Monaco of Ansonia, Conn., 15 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Mrs. Grossi was born March 23, 1890, in Pettorano Sul Gizio, Province, Aquila, Italy.
