Concetta Ferrelli

The obit of Concetta Ferrelli appeared in the Steubenville (Ohio) Herald Star on February 21, 1973
Mrs. Concetta M. Ferrelli, 85, of 661 Prospect Avenue, widow of Joseph Ferrelli Sr., died Tuesday at 6:45 p.m. in the Lancia Convalescent Center.  Mrs. Ferrelli was a member of the Mother of Sorrow Society, League of the Sacred Heart and St. Anthony Catholic Church.  She leaves four sons, Daniel and Anthony, both at home Robert and Joseph Jr., both of Steubenville; three daughters, Mrs. Anna Basso, Mrs. Thoma (Jean) Conners, both of Steubenville, and Mrs. Bernard (Violet) Pizzo of Sunshine Park RD 3, Steubenville; two brothers, Giacomo Carrara of Italy and John Carrara of Australia; a sister, Mrs. Crescenza D'Alessandro of Italy; nine grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.  Mrs. Ferrelli was born June 7, 1887, in Pettorano sul Gizio, Province of Aquila, Italy.  On December 11, 1904, she married Joseph Ferrelli Sr., who preceded her in death in 1947.  Friends may call at the Mosti Funeral Home from 7-9 p.m today and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m Thursday; Solemn Funeral High Mass 9 a.m. Friday, St. Anthony Church, Msgr. Paul L. Richter; Mt. Calvary Cemetery; Rosary 7 p.m. Thursday.
