Antonia Leone Ranalli

FOLLANSBEE - Mrs. Antonia Leone Ranalli, 86, died at 1:30 a.m. Sunday after a brief illness in the home of her daughter, Mrs. John Martino of 1035 Main Street, with whom she had made her home for the past four years.  She was born June 13, 1873, in Pettorano Sul Gizio, Province of Aquila Abruzzi, Italy, a daughter of the late Ambrozio and Carolina Schiappuicci Leone.  She came to the U.S. on December 2, 1955, and had resided with her daughter since that time.  She was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church of Follansbee.  She leaves one daughter, Mrs. John (Concetta) Martino of Follansbee; one step-daughter, Mrs. Anna Tecca of Akron, Ohio; one step-son, Patsy Ranalli of Youngstown, Ohio; nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Ranalli, in 1951, and two sons, Christian Ranalli and Vito Ranalli.  Friends may call at the James Funeral Home in Follansbee.  A Requiem High Mass will be celebrated Wednesday at 9 a.m. in St. Anthony's Church.  The Rev. Fr. John L. O'Reilly will officiate.  Burial will be in the Oak Grove
Cemetery, Follansbee.
