Margherita Calabrese Panza

The obit of Margherita Calabrese Panza appeared in the Steubenville (Ohio) Herald Star on October 24, 1974
Weirton - Mrs. Margherita Panza, 78, of 173 North 20th Street, widow of Dominick A. Panza, was dead on arrival at 7:45 p.m. Wednesday at Weirton General Hospital.  She was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Church.  Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Concetta Oddi of Steubenville and Mrs. Harry (Anita) Wargo of Tokyo, Japan: two sons, John Panza of Follansbee and Albert Panza of Weirton, nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren.  Mrs. Panza was born July 13, 1896, in Pettorano sul Gizio, Italy, a daughter of the late Charles and Fiora Calbrese.  She was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.  Friends may call at the Presley Funeral Home after 7 p.m. today and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.  Friday: Mass of Christian Burial Saturday at 10 a.m. in St. Joseph the Worker Church; Rev. Fr. Joseph D'Aurora; St. Paul's Cemetery; Wake services Friday at 7 p.m.
