Domenick Orsini

The obit of Domenick Orsini appeared in the Steubenville (Ohio) Herald Star on October 18, 1961
MINGO JUNCTION -  Domenick P. Orsini, 71, of 101 Western Avenue died at 1:30 a.m. today in Gill Memorial Hospital.  He had been hospitalized three days and in ill health the past four years. 
Mr. Orsini retired in 1957 from Wheeling Steel Corp., where he
had been employed as a blacksmith's helper.  He was a member of St. Agnes' Catholic Church of Mingo Junction.  He also held membership in the Sons of Italy and the Knights of St. George.  He leaves his widow, Mrs. Luigia Pelini Orsini; two sons, Anthony
R. Orsini and Ralph A. Orsini, both of Mingo Junction; a daughter, Catherine Orsini, at home; two brothers, Nick Orsini of Mingo Junction and Carmine Orsini of Follansbee; a sister, Mrs. Frank (Jesse) Cilli of Mingo Junction and six grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.  Mr. Orsini was born May 11, 1890, in Pettorano Sul Gizio, Province of Aquila, Italy, a son of  the late Antonio and Raffaela Guelielmi Orsini.  Friends may call at the Hoff Funeral Home in Mingo Junction from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday and Friday.  A Requiem High Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Saturday in St. Agnes' Church.  The Rev. Fr. William Young will be celebrant.  Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Friday in the funeral home.
