Follansbee - Mike (Alexander) D'Alessandro, 62, a resident of 563 Allegheny Street, died at 11:30 pm Sunday at his home. He was ill for several months. He was born July 10, 1894 in Pettorano sul Gizio in the province of Aquila, Italy, son of the late Pasquale and Gaetana Ferrelli D'A'essandro. He came to the United States in 1909 and was employed by the Wheeling Steel Corporatio's Steubenville works for the past 25 years. Mr. D'Alessandro was married to Adeline DiPasquale, June 24, 1922. He was a member of the St. Anthony church and the Garibaldi lodge. Survivors include his wife, two daughters, Mrs. Joel Orsini of Steubenville and Mrs. Eli Petrovich, of Weirton. One son, Pat, of Steubenville, also survive. A daughter Lydia and a sister, Carmella Bonitatibus preceded him in death. Friends will be received after 7 p.m. today at the James Funeral home. Requiem high mass will be held Wednesday at 9 a.m. in the St. Anthony church with Rev. John L. O'Reilly in charge.
