Liberatore (Bert) Giannamore, 71, 271 Hollywood Blvd., Steubenville, died 2:40 p.m. Sunday, July 27, 1969, Ohio Valley Hospital.  Born July 23, 1898 in Pettorano Sul Gizio, Province, Aquila, Italy, son of the late Vincenzo and Michelena Emelio Giannamore.  Came to the U. S. in 1900 residing in Steubenville ever since.  Retired in 1962 from Weirton Steel as a crane operator in the 54 inch electric department.  Married in 1920 to the former Maria Taglieri who survives, also surviving a son, Robert A. Giannamore Sr. of Steubenville; two brothers, Ernest Giannamore and William Giannamore both of Steubenville, and four grandchildren.  Preceded in death besides parents, two brothers, Frank and Peter Giannamore, both of Steubenville.  Member of Weirton Steel 25 Year Club, 2nd United Presbyterian Church where services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 31, 1969 with Rev. Mr. Edwin F. Fontaine officiating.  Burial Union Cemetery.  Friends are being received at the Mosti Funeral Home, 321 South 4th Street 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday.

Pietro Giannamore

The obit of Pietro Giannamore appeared in the Steubenville (Ohio) Herald Star on May 13, 1960.
Pietro Giannamore, 69, of 506 South Street, died today at 7:05 a.m in Gill Memorial Hospital.  Death was attributed to natural causes.  Mr. Giannamore had been in ill health for two months. 
He was born in Pettorano Sul Gizio, Province of Aquila, Italy,
June 29, 1890, a son of the late Vincenzo and Michelena D'Emilio Giannamore.  Mr. Giannamore came to the United States in 1890
and had been a resident of Steubenville since then.  He was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church, and the Holy Name Society of the. church, the Knights of St. Anthony.  Until his retirement in 1955, Mr. Giannamore had been employed in the

tube works department of the Wheeling Steel Corp.  He was married, to the former Maddalena Ginnetti September 25, 1913. 
He leaves his widow, Mrs. Maddalena Giannamore, at home three sons, Vincent Giannamore and Michael Giannamore of Steubenville, and the Rev. Fr. Anthony Giannamore of the St. John
Vianney Seminary in Bloomingdale; four daughters, Mrs. Conny
G. (Norma) Mascio and Mrs. Charles (Mary) Manfresca, both
of Steubenville; Mrs. George (Anna) Spagno of Cleveland, and

Miss Elvira Giannamore at home; three, brothers, Liberatore Giannamore, Ernest Giannamore and William Giannamore all of Steubenville; and 11 grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by three children and one brother.  Friends may call at the Mosti

Funeral Home tonight after 8, Saturday from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. and
Sunday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.  Solemn Requiem High Mass will

be sung Monday at 9 a.m. in St. Anthony Church with the Rev. Fr.
Anthony Giannamore, his son, as celebrant.  The Most Rev. John
King Mussio, bishop of Steubenville, will be in attendance and will
officiate at the Absolution.  Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
