Mrs. Maria Pace Crugnale, 82, of 3111 West 18th Street, Fort Lauderdale,Florida, a former resident of Mingo Junction, died at 2 p.m. Saturday in the North Broward General Hospital, Fort Lauderdale. She had been a patient 10 days. She was born February 9, 1876, in Pettorano sul Gizio, Province of Aquila, Italy. Mrs. Crugnale had been a resident of Fort Lauderdale 17
months, coming from Mingo Junction, where she had resided 58 years. She was a member of a Catholic Church in Fort Lauderdale, the Catholic Woman's Club of Mingo Junction, and the Sons of Italy of Steubenville. Mrs. Crugnale leaves her husband, Matteo Crugnale; two sons, Anthony J. Crugnale of Steubenville and Rocco A. Crugnale of Mingo Junction; three daughters, Mrs. Earl Sweeney of Fort Lauderdale, Miss Sylvia Crugnale, at home and Mrs. George Thompson of Mingo Junction; one sister, Mrs. Judith Coletta of Mingo Junction; one brother, Mike Vandress of Canton; nine grandchildren, and four great grandchildren. Friends may call at the Hoff Funeral Home, Mingo Junction, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday. Solemn Requiem High Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Thursday in St. Agnes Catholic Church, Mingo Junction. The Rev. Fr. John Costlow will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Steubenville.
