The 50th Wedding Anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Laurence Dalesio appeared in the Steubenville (Ohio) Herald Star on November 13, 1957
Wed 50 Years. Mr. and Mrs. Laurence Dalesio of 546 Rose Street, Follansbee will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Thursday. They were married November 14, 1907 in Pettorano sul Gizio, Province of Aquilla, in Italy. Mr. Dalesio came to this county April 2, 1908, and Mrs. Dalesio the following year. They settled in Follansbee. After working 42 years for Follansbee Steel Corporation, Mr. Dalesio retired in 1949. They are the parents of 10 children and have 17 grandchildren. One grandchild, John, was killed in France in World War II. The sons are Guy Dalesio, Albino Dalesio and Alfred Dalesio, all of Weirton. The daughters are Mrs. John Basil, Mrs. Dan Confalone and Mrs. Howard Carson of Follansbee, Mrs. Mike Rohol of Tronto, Ohio, and Mrs. Louise Salerno of Weirton. A family reunion will be held in the Sons of Italy Hall.
