The obit of Dalmano Bonaventura appeared in the Steubenville (Ohio) Herald Star on August 8, 1960.
Dalmano A. Bonaventura, 66, of 241 North 3rd Street died at 10:45 p.m. Saturday. Death was attributed to natural causes. Mr. Bonaventura was a retire employee of the coal strip department of the Wheeling Steel Corp. He came ta the United States in 1902 and had been a resident of Steubenvllle since that time. He was a member of St. Anthony's Church. Mr. Bonaventura was married October 20, 1920, in Steubenvllle to Edith M. D'Aurora who survives with five sons, Camillo J. Bonaventura of Cincinnati, Dr. Clarence Bonaventura of Columbus and Alfred Bonaventura, Angelo Bonaventura and Rudy Bonaventura, all of Steubenville; three daughters, Mrs. John (Rose) Pompei of Weirton, Mrs. Vito
(Olga) Sprochi of Mingo Junction and Mrs. Nick (Virginia) Yuricic of Beech Wood Addition, Steubenvllle; one sister, Mrs. Joseph (Gaitanina) DeLuca of Steubenville, and 15 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son Mario, in 1955. He was born August 3, 1894, in Pettorano Sul Gizio, Province of Aquila, Italy, a son of the late Camillo and Rose Mary Duora Bonaventura. Friends may call at the Mosti Funeral Home from 2 p.m. to 5
p.m. and 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. today and Tuesday. A Requiem High Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Wednesday to St. Anthony's Church. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. The Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.
