Nunzio Tacozza

FOLLANSBEE - Nunzio Carlo Tacozza, 80, of 401 Rose Street, Follansbee, died at 5:25 a.m. today at the Gill Memorial Hospital.
He was born February 17, 1885 in Pettorano Sul Gizio, Italy, a son of the late Antonio and Marianna Ferrelli Tacozza.  He came to the United States in 1912 and was retired from the Follansbee Steel Corporation.  He was a member of St. Anthony's Roman Catholic Church and the Garibaldi Lodge.  His wife, Mrs. Christina D'Aurora, proceeded him in death in 1958.  Surviving are two sons: Anthony and Daniel, both of Follansbee; three daughters: Marianna, at home; Mrs. John (Violet) Stinoski, Follansbee; Mrs. Robert (Helen) Allen, Woodsdale; and 10 grandchildren. Friends will be received at the James Funeral Home after 7 p.m. Thursday where the rosary will be recited Friday at 8 p.m.  Requiem High Mass will be celebrated Saturday at 11:30 am. at St Anthony's Church with Rev. Fr. Cesidio Federico as celebrant.  Burial in Oakgrove cemetery.
